Welcome to Brantfell House, In the heart of the Lake District

Brantfell, a boutique style guest house, is probably one of the finest places to stay when you explore the Lake District. We are within striking distance of the centre of the village, with its multitude of shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes and lots more. Ambleside is the perfect base to explore the unique landscapes and villages of the Lake District National Park.

All rooms and suites have flat screen LCD TV and DVD players, and designer en-suite shower rooms, with double- width showers.
The suites have super-king-size beds, which can be converted into two singles when a twin room is needed. Each suite has a comfortable leather sofa where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful views towards Loughrigg Fell and Fairfield Horseshoe.

We also have larger than average single rooms with double beds and lovely views towards Wansfell Pike.

Breakfasts, served in the dining room, and cooked to order, are made from the finest local produce, catering for both traditional and vegetarian tastes. Brantfell is also licensed to sell alcohol.

Included with your stay is complimentary membership of the Low Wood Leisure Club, free wireless internet, parking, and, for special occasions we can have champagne, flowers, chocolates etc. placed in your room for your arrival. All you have to do is let us know what you would like in advance.
